Wild Places need our help. The Lake District receives around 15.8 million visitors each year, and whilst that brings many economic benefits to the region, it puts a great deal of pressure on the environment and that pressure is increasing year on year. As a business that derives its income from wild places, and whose staff spend their lives recreating in the outdoors, we feel that it is only right to give something back.

From 2021, Adventure Hunter pledge to donate £5 from each booking to the John Muir Trust who work tirelessly to protect wild land, enhance habitats, and encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with wild places. This ethos is in line with our own and when you book a course or activity with us, you are making a difference.

Rest assured that we have not increased our prices to pass on the donation directly to you, but intend to absorb it into our existing pricing. If you would like to make an additional donation to the John Muir Trust we will be happy to arrange this for you. Please get in touch for more details.
