If you are working towards a Mountain Leader award and would like a refresher before your assessment then we can help. Perhaps you did a training course a while ago and would like to revisit one or two areas of the syllabus? Or, maybe you haven’t done a training course yet and are wondering if the Mountain Leader Award is for you? Our Mountain Leader Award Refresher courses can be tailored to your requirements and we can help answer any questions you might have about the assessment process.
During your day we can focus on any of the following syllabus areas (we recommend you choose no more than two from this list in order to allow sufficient time to each). We can also arrange night navigation exercises if this is something that you would like to revisit.
All of these courses work well on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis (instructor to participant) and can be booked for one or two days in duration.

You will need to bring some of your own personal items including a rucksack, suitable footwear, warm and waterproof clothing, and a packed lunch. You will also need maps and a compass and a headtorch. If you would like to revisit any other areas of the syllabus we can provide additional equipment If you need to hire any equipment please contact us in advance.
