Mountain Scrambling in the Lake District

Scrambling on Striding Edge

Activity Overview

Our Mountain Scrambling in the Lake District activity days are suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and a good head for heights. During your day we aim to tackle one or more of the Lakelands classic mountain scrambles, such as Striding Edge, Sharp Edge, or Jacks Rake (to name but a few!). If you’ve done lots of hillwalking but are a bit daunted by the prospect of doing anything more exposed then we’d be happy help.

This activity is great for adventurous families and can be booked as a stand-alone activity or as part of a multi-day activity package. Why not check out this ‘How to Scramble: Striding Edge‘ guide which has been produced by the BMC for some inspiration.
