Activity Overview

Rock Climbing is a dynamic and growing sport that appeals to people from all walks of life. Finding a safe avenue to discover and experience the sport for the first time can be tricky. We aim to facilitate this by choosing safe and friendly locations and only use instructors who are experienced and passionate climbers themselves. Our Rock Climbing and Abseiling activity is suitable for all ages and abilities and our qualified instructors will tailor the activity to your requirements.

Essential Details

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • Fun and friendly taster session
  • All safety equipment provided
  • Full or half-day activity
  • Abseiling as part of the activity or as an activity in its own right

 Activity Prices:

This activity is priced per person assuming a group of four or more. If your group is less than four, we charge a flat rate. Your booking will be treated as private unless you give us permission to open it up to the public as a scheduled activity. This could lower the overall cost in line with the rates below:

  • 1-3 participants: £170 flat rate
  • 4-6 participants: £45 per person
  • 7-10 participants: £40 per person

* Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How many can participate?

We believe that keeping group numbers low enhances your experience. Therefore, we run this with a maximum of ten people.

Use the enquiry form on this page and we’ll get back to you with all of the details. We require a 30% deposit to secure bookings. If you would like any more information or have a specific question, please get in touch. In extremely wet conditions this activity may be cancelled in which case a full refund will be issued or an option to climb indoors*.

*There will be an additional fee if you choose an indoor climbing session. This is to cover the cost of admission.

What do I need to bring with me?

We will provide all of the safety equipment required. However, you will need to bring some of your own personal items including:

  • Suitable footwear (robust trainers/boots)
  • Warm and waterproof clothing
  • Hat and Gloves
  • Packed lunch and a drink
