The majority of our rock climbing courses are run in the English Lake District which is often regarded as the birthplace of British climbing. We offer four structured climbing courses that cater for all abilities and aspirations. Single pitch or multi-pitch, we tailor the climbing to your experience and requirements.
If you’d prefer a more guided experience and simply want to enjoy the movement of climbing without having to worry about the ‘nuts and bolts’ then we also have something to offer. Take a look at our Guided Rock Climbing in the Lake District pages for more inspiration.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for something different or simply want to climb somewhere else in the country, drop us a line and we’ll try and help. We strive to offer flexible, tailored instruction specific to your goals. For more details of the climbing courses we offer, please see below.
Rock Climbing Apprentice is an entry-level course for people who would like to find out what climbing is all about. Or perhaps you have some experience climbing indoors or outdoors and want to take your climbing to the next level?
Our Advanced Rock Climbing Course is geared towards more experienced climbers. If you would like to learn to lead or simply want to improve your climbing, we can offer training and coaching to help you get there.
We also offer a Self Rescue and Problem Solving Course for experienced climbers who want to arm themselves with some skills to manage if things go awry.
Our Aid Climbing and Big Wall Techniques Course is also geared towards experienced climbers who are looking to practice the necessary techniques to give themselves the best possible chance of success.
All of these courses work well on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis (instructor to participant) and can be booked from one to three days in duration.

We will provide all of the safety equipment required, including a helmet and harness. However, if you have any of your own equipment that you would like to use, we will encourage you to use it as long as its suitable. Its always good to use your own equipment as it will be familiar to you, and will help you to feel more comfortable. You will need to provide some of your own personal gear including a rucksack, walking boots, warm and waterproof clothing and a packed lunch.
