The majority of our climbing courses are run in the English Lake District which is often regarded as the birthplace of British climbing. We offer five structured rock climbing courses in the Lake District that cater for all abilities and aspirations. Single pitch or multi-pitch, we tailor the climbing to your experience and requirements.
If you’d prefer a more guided experience and simply want to enjoy the movement of climbing without having to worry about the ‘nuts and bolts’ then we also have something to offer. Take a look at our Rock Climbing in the Lake District pages for more inspiration.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for something different or simply want to climb somewhere else in the country, drop us a line and we’ll try and help. We strive to offer flexible, tailored instruction specific to your goals. For more details of the climbing courses we offer, please see below.
Beginners Rock Climbing is an entry-level course for people who would like to find out what climbing is all about. Or perhaps you have some experience climbing indoors or outdoors and want to take your climbing to the next level?
This course is geared towards experienced climbers. If you would like to try multi-pitch climbing or simply want to try and improve your technique or rope-work, we can offer training and coaching to help you get there.
For many aspiring climbers, learning to lead is a natural progression. Perhaps you’ve done some leading at your local climbing wall or have done some ‘seconding’, and would like to have a go at leading outdoors?
We also offer a Self Rescue and Problem Solving Course for experienced climbers who want to arm themselves with some skills to manage if things go awry.
Our Aid Climbing and Big Wall Techniques Course is also geared towards experienced climbers who are looking to practice the necessary techniques to give themselves the best possible chance of success.
