Rock Climbing in Wales and South West England

Climber on The Cracks Dinas Mot

Rock Climbing Wales and South West England Overview

We offer guided rock climbing in Wales and South West England on some of the best and most accessible Mountain crags and Sea Cliffs in the UK. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to climb the classic Terriers Tooth at Chair Ladder, or the iconic Dream of White Horses in Wen Zawn? If you are interested in arranging a day, or a few days guided rock climbing, please get in touch.

Do I need any previous experience?

Some previous multi-pitch climbing experience is desirable, but not essential. Maybe you have a particular climb on your ‘bucket list’ that you’ve always wanted to do? Or, perhaps you are just curious to explore some of the great crags the areas have to offer? We will advise you on the level of ability required to tackle some of the countries greatest climbs and can offer training and coaching to help you get there. We strive to offer flexible, tailored instruction specific to your goals.

How many can participate?

Guided Rock Climbing works well on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis (instructor to participant) and can be booked from one day to a week in duration.

How much will it cost?

Our pricing structure is based on a sliding scale with a reduced daily fee for every additional day booked. If you would like to reserve a contingency day around your preferred date/s in order to pick the best weather and conditions for your course or activity we may be able to arrange this for an additional fee. For more details, please see our pricing structure.

How to book?

We offer a range of scheduled activities that are open to the public and that can be booked online via the red ‘Book Now’ button. Anything else (including this experience) can only be booked privately and enquiries can be made via the form on this page or via the contact form at the top of the page. We require a 30% deposit to secure private bookings and full payment prior to your course or activity commencing. If you would like any more information or have a specific question, please get in touch.

What do I need to bring with me?

We will provide all of the technical climbing equipment, including a helmet and harness if required. If you have any of your own equipment that you would like to use, we will encourage you to use it as long as it’s suitable. It’s always good to use your own equipment as it will be familiar to you, and will help you to feel more comfortable. However, you will need to provide some personal items including a rucksack, waterproofs, suitable footwear, and a packed lunch.
