Guided Scrambling and Mountaineering

Great Routes. Wild Mountains. A Day Built Around You.

From rocky ridges and classic scrambles to remote summits and long mountain days, Britain offers an extraordinary variety of scrambling and mountaineering. Our private guiding is entirely bespoke — built around your experience, aspirations and the conditions.

Scrambling & Mountaineering in the Lake District

The Lake District offers a huge variety of scrambling and mountaineering, from adventurous Grade 2 ridges to steeper and more technical Grade 3 terrain.

With more than 25 years spent climbing and exploring throughout the Lakes, we have an intimate knowledge of its mountains, ridges and routes. This allows us to choose an objective that suits your experience while making the most of the weather and conditions.

Classic days might include Pinnacle Ridge on St Sunday Crag or Cam Crag Ridge in Langstrath, either as objectives in their own right or incorporated into a longer mountain journey.

Scotland

Scotland offers bigger terrain, remote approaches and some truly memorable mountain journeys.

Objectives might include the Aonach Eagach, Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis or, for something considerably bigger, the Cuillin Ridge on Skye. These are adventurous days where good planning, sound judgement and efficient movement through the mountains are all part of the experience.

Wales

The mountains of North Wales offer another superb variety of scrambling and mountaineering. Routes such as Cneifion Arete, Dolmen Ridge and the East Face of Tryfan provide everything from technical scrambling to long and absorbing mountain days.

You don’t need to arrive with a particular route in mind. Tell us about your experience, the places that inspire you and what you’d like to achieve.

Drawing on decades of climbing and mountaineering experience, we’ll help find an objective that fits — whether that’s developing your skills, tackling a classic scramble or embarking on a bigger mountain adventure.

How much will it cost?
