Winter Climbing Courses Overview
There’s no doubt that winter climbing draws on all of the skills we learn as climbers and mountaineers and demands that they are practised and honed in an incredibly challenging and inspiring environment. Slick ropework and technique, combined with good judgment and decision-making skills are essential for any winter climber who wants to be safe and productive. We offer two winter climbing courses that will help you develop these skills.
Introduction to Winter Climbing
This introductory course is designed for people who are just getting into the wonderful world of winter climbing. We aim to help you develop confidence and good judgment, as well as the practical skills required to tackle graded winter climbs.
